Crack Sentencing Reduction: Retroactive

  1. MY CHILDREN’S FATHER WAS SENTENCED TO TEN YEARS IN FEDERAL PRISON FOR DRUG TRAFFICING, AND I AM SO GLAD THAT THEY ARE TRYING TO REDUCE THE TIME FOR HIM AND OTHER INMATES THAT ARE DOING TIME FOR DRUG RELATED CRIMES BECAUSE I THINK THAT THE TIME THAT THEY GIVE PEOPLE FOR DRUGS IS WAY TO LONG. IT’S NOT LIKE THEY ARE MURDERERS OR CHILD MOLESTERS OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT. MOST OF THEM ARE YOUNG MEN WHO MADE SOME BAD CHOICES. I THINK THAT THE HARD TIME SHOULD BE GIVEN TO THE PEOPLE WHO DESERVE IT. BUT I AM GLAD TO SEE THAT SOMETHING IS BEING DONE ABOUT THIS BECAUSE THESE CHILDREN NEED THEIR FATHERS AND THESE MEN NEED ANOTHER CHANCE! GOD BLESS.
