Jena and the Problem of “Insufficient Subtlety”

My colleague Gary Younge, who writes for the Guardian, has filed a good piece from Jena ahead of tomorrow’s rally in which he looks at Jena in light of widespread inequalities in America. “Jena’s problem is not that it has proved itself more racist than the rest of the country,” he concludes, “but that it has manifested its racism with insufficient subtlety.” You can read it here.
